Don't Sue Yourself!

I recently attended a divorce law seminar, and the speaker made a great point: a divorce is the only area of law where you are suing yourself. Think about that. This is why I work so hard for my clients to achieve a Dissolution whenever possible. At the end of the day, there's only one pool of money, and the more you fight, the more that dwindles. Sometimes it''s necessary, but most of the time, it's only the lawyers benefitting from a long, drawn out divorce.
